This privacy notice describes the way in which we process your personal data (“data”) that you make available to us or that we collect from you upon visiting our website (www.tinhofer.legal).

However, even in these situations the controller, as defined in Section 2, is solely responsible for the collection, processing and use of your data.

3. Categories of data, purpose and legal grounds for the processing of data
If you visit our website (www.tinhofer.legal), the webserver will automatically collect the following information (“usage data”) and store it in the logfiles until its automatic deletion:
- Name and URL of the visited subpages of our website
- IP-address and hostname of your computer
- Date and time of access
- Website from which our website is accessed (Referrer-URL)
- Websites that you visit by clicking on a link integrated in our website
- Type of your browser used by you to access our website
- Name of the user’s internet service provider

We use the above data for the following purposes:

The legal basis for processing usage data is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interests derive from the purposes mentioned above. We will not use the usage data to identify you, unless there is evidence of website misuse.
4. Deletion of data
The usage data mentioned above will be automatically deleted two weeks after your visit to our website. However, if there is evidence of website misuse the data will be stored as long as necessary to pursue our legal claims.

We have concluded a data processing agreement with this company pursuant to Article 28 GDPR. The servers of our processor are situated in Linz and Vienna.
5.2. Map
Our website subpage “Contacts” provides an “OpenStreetMap” to assist in locating our office. Your data is only transferred upon clicking the map. This will direct you to the website of the OpenStreetMap Foundation (OSMF) situated in the United Kingdom. Their privacy policy can be found at wiki.osmfoundation.org/wiki/Privacy_Policy.
5.3. Links to Social Networks
Our website provides links to the Social Networks LindedIn and Xing. If you click on one of these links your browser will connect to the servers of that Social Network. The Social Network will be informed of your visit to our website, even if you do not have an account with or are not logged-in to that Social Network. The legal basis for this processing of data is Article 6 (1)(f) GDPR since we pursue a legitimate interest by displaying our profile on Social Networks.
This privacy policy does not apply to the above Social Networks. The corresponding privacy policies can be found on the websites of LinkedIn and Xing. We have no influence over the websites of LinkedIn and Xing and thus shall not be held liable for any content or other measures originating from those websites. Please note that the limitation of liability pursuant to Section 17 E-Commerce Act (ECG) applies.
6. Your rights
You are entitled to information about the data stored by us (Article 15 GDPR). In addition, you may request the rectification (Article 16 GDPR) or erasure (Article 17 GDPR) of your data subject to certain conditions. Further, you may have the right to restrict the processing of your data (Article 18 GDPR) and the right to receive your data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format (Article 20 GDPR).
If we process your data for our legitimate interests you can object to this on grounds relating to your particular situation. In such a case we will no longer process the data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims (Article 21 GDPR).
